» Basic - Intro «

 

 Course Description:

This course is designed to introduce individuals to the basic operations of providing personal protection with operational planning.  We focus on developing the education and skill sets as a foundation which allows all participants to expand and increase their knowledge with additional training programs. Class size maximum 20.

 Objectives include the following:

   Ø     Train and qualify individuals in the following areas:

o   Introduction on Protection Duties and Responsibilities.

o   Basic introduction to Terrorism.

o   Basic branch operations – Central Command – Principles Detail – Advance Detail.

o   Basic introduction to safe houses, route planning and dealing with law enforcement agencies.

o   Standard Conduct and protocol.

o   Walking formations and zone security.

o   (Single man and  four man detail simulations)

o   Vehicle entry and exiting.

o   Basic vehicle Inspections and maintenance history check.

o   Basic Close Quarter Combat (CQC)

o   Non-Lethal instruments and theories.

o   Legal issues and concerns.

 

 Type of instruction:

  Ø  Classroom.

  Ø  Practical applications.

 

 Length:

  Ø  Three days / minimum 24 hours.
